Finally back from vacation ... not that I'm happy about it, because we really had a great time in Vienna.
The weather was fantastic ... we even were bathing (Donauinsel - what a lovely place ) ... and not to forget - we also had the chance to visit the Donauinselfestival. A great free outdoor festival which has been arranged the last 29 years.
We saw parts of the Toy Run ... about 4800 moterbikes passing through Vienna's main streets. (And where was my camera ... at my Hotel room - of course )
We also made time to visit friends and family ... all together - a fantastic vacation ...
I love Vienna

Since the weather hasn't been too "nice" lately ... raining, storm, snow - changing all the time, I've decided to browse through my older photos. There are a lot of them on my hard drives

The last photos I've uploaded to dA are from a very special place here in Northern Norway ... The Old Trading Post on Kjerringøy.
Kjerringøy Trading Post is one of the best preserved trading posts here in Northern Norway. Visiting this place, is an  amazing journey back in time ... actually into the19 century. (You can read more about here www.saltenmuseum.no/content/vi…)

Lots of original equipments can be seen there ... in the main house, in the shop "Kramboden" or inside the other, well preserved buildings which can be found on the ground of the Trading Post.

For me, the original fishing boats - "Nordlands boats" were very interesting, because both my father-in-law, and his father too, have been working on boats like this one.
Imagine living on a boat like this for months at the time - it's unbelievable.

I've now also become a proud member of the group


This summer we (my hubby and me) are going to visit my family in Vienna ...
I do hope that everything is working out - haven't been there for almost 3 years now and I really feel that it is about time.
Family and friends are waiting - and I also hope that I might can take one or another nice photo in Vienna or it's surroundings. (I never travel far without my camera )

... I've finally got my computer back, and it seems that everything is working as before.
I'm relieved

... my computer crashed on sunday - and even if I've hoped that I would have everything solved by now - I'm still without my puter. (And I might have to wait until next week to find out if there is anything to save )
I don't even know if I get back my computer or if I have to invest into a new one ... but I really hope that they at least can save my hard drives. If not ... I'm "dead".
